University of Winchester
"In terms of title we may be one of the newest universities, but in terms of character and culture we are one of the oldest." By the standards of today's universities, the University of Winchester is small, with some 3000 full-time and 2500 part-time students. Most are following undergraduate courses, though we have a significant and growing number of students on Masters and Doctoral level courses. The culture of the University is informal and the emphasis is on providing a supportive community within which individuals can develop themselves and find a clear sense of direction. We aim to produce graduates who will make a difference in and through their chosen careers.
