Overall opinion
A good choice.
Quality of course and lecturers
Outstanding department. High quality teaching and support.
University facilities
Library excellent, although computer room was often full. Excellent sports facilities too.
Student union
Never used it.
University societies and clubs
Didnt bother with clubs, but plenty of them.
University life
Decent commuter town with good student night life. Not exactly Bristol or Manchester, but more than adequate. Purple Turtle, anyone?
Accommodation
Fine, but a bit grubby
Job prospects and careers service
Wide range of postgraduate opportunities. Does have a career service. Hmm, not sure how much impact the university had on my job prospects.
