Overall opinion

UoC is an amazing uni with olot of support and prospects, you'd be mad to pass down the opportunity.

Quality of course and lecturers

I dont know what the hell you guys find wrong with the uni but i cant fault it, it seems like you have a very similar writing style as well... Anyway my course if brilliant, the lecturers are fantastic and are always willing to help if you put the effort in to asking for it, the equipment is extensive and constantly expanding and the tech problems are usually solved within a day if reported. The students get a good say within the university through the student counsel and any problems that are raised there by ether students or lecturers are honestly and unbiasedly sorted. the UoC is a fantastic uni with a rapidly expanding reputation, a fine establishment.

University facilities

The libraries over the campuses have all the books for research or pleasure I need. the student bar at Caldewgate campus is friendly and cheep, a must for most students =), and i know how much effort gets put into organizing activities for the students

Student union

great freshers weeks, a fortnight of activities on landing and then a refreshers after xmas not to mention the many nights out and even a snowball fight during the snowy periods.

University societies and clubs

loads of clubs and activities, anything you could possably need, and if there isnt one you want than your encouraged to start it

loads of pubs/clubs, its both Lancaster and Carlisle have many to go into.

Accommodation

if staying at Carlisle go to the "Old Brewery" its the best by a mile
