Overall opinion
Absolutely dire, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.The place could be improved by nuking it, it really is that bad and I can thank the staff for completely wasting the last two years of my studying.If you want an education, or a valid Degree, I wouldn't attempt to come here.
Quality of course and lecturers
Supercilious, false and inaccurate lecturing is the order of the day. Lecturers frequently pull lectures without notice. Exams never reflect actual teaching, and sometimes exams ask for data that I haven't studied or even know about. This has resulted in lousy grades, even though I know what I'm doing.I've really had enough, I'm looking to transfer to Newcastle or Lancaster Uni in next month.
University facilities
Academic facilities are pathetic, nonexistant.Library is a classroom, with couple of computers and books thrown in for good measure.No sports facilties and bar is crummy and like a garden shed.
Student union
Wouldn't know, they don't have one at Fusehill St.
University societies and clubs
They don't have any at Fusehill St, not that I'm aware of
University life
Carlisle is a dump with awful pubs, and two rip-off clubs that are in a 1980's time warp.

Job prospects and careers service
Studying here has made me realise how bad things are in Cumbria, I am transferring from this hellhole and moving to the outside world (ie Newcastle or Lancaster Uni). That is if they will take someone from this rancid Uni.careers service haven't surfaced here, so wouldn't know.
