The ups and downs!

University : London South Bank University
Course title : BEng Multimedia Engineering
Year of graduation : 2002
Overall opinion
I did enjoyed my 3 years in SBU, but I am only giving it an average score. Mainly because its low ranking amonst other unis in UK. If you want a real study enviroment, SBU isn't the place to be. Too many students are just not in to learning at all. We started with 20 students in the Multimedia Engineering, at the 2nd year we left with 12, when we graduated there are only 7 or 8 of us.
Quality of course and lecturers
When I was in SBU, we had several good lecturers. Friendly and respossible. Courses on the other hand is just average, and is not up to date in some courses.
University facilities
Library and IT facility in SBU are quite good. There are about 100 computers in the Learning Resource Centre on 3 floors. Lecturer recommended books are always hot in the library. Most the time I was not able to reserve one. SBU also has a bar & club right in between two main uni buildings.

Job prospects and careers service
There is a career centre in SBU ( I didn't know this until I was looking for a job after I graduated). Anyway, staff there isn't very helpful, and there aren't much of jobs to choose from.
